Dr. Cunningham oversees research strategy and faculty development across the biomedical sciences at the Texas A&M University Naresh K. Vashisht College of Medicine. He plays a central role in advancing early stage research toward clinical translation and real world impact. A nationally recognized cardiovascular and neurophysiology researcher, he has led NIH funded research for nearly three decades and brings deep expertise in translating academic discovery into clinical solutions.
